Snake!

Occasionally I roll over to the Savannah Wildlife Refuge to check out the prehistoric residents who call it home, namely alligators, and on some days there is an extra treat in store for the intrepid explorer. Found this fella swallowing a bird (I think) in the middle of the gravel road (never a good place for a snake to be lounging around) and after he finished swallowing his dinner I shooed him into the bush in order to digest and chill out. It was about 4-5 feet in length - georgious creature - they get a bad rap.
