Choose Wisely

For those of you who didn't vote last week, if you could vote, today is the day to get out to the polls and do it.

This is my final public plea: Please vote the Democratic ticket.

I intend to be up most of the night, as I was four years ago in Chicago, where I was plugged into the freakiest night of American politics in my lifetime, going into the bedroom at 7am to tell Stacy, "we don't know, it's still up in the air."

I hope we are spared that shit this time out. This time, it is my sincere hope, that after more than a year of serious personal electioneering, that we as a nation will be rewarded and our country taken back from this gang of ideological radicals who've hijacked our democracy, thrust us into a senseless war, caused deep tissue damage to our economy and who are driven by the worst lust of all, that of feeling propelled by a angry God they have only a second graders medieval comprehension of.

With Chief Justice Renquist ailing, there is a very real possibility that one of the presidents first tasks will be the appointment of a justice on the Supreme Court and this is probably one of the most important jobs a President has. Remember, you are voting for more than just John Kerry or George Bush, you are voting for a national psychic direction. I want the USA to be the beacon of hope and light that it SHOULD and HAS been and not the feared National Imperialistic Megalodon that it is slowly becoming - on this current track, the track of the Megalodon, we face extinction, as became the Megalodon and every other nation that has trod the slippery slope of believing it could stand alone - sucking all the oxygen on the big blue marble - and that the rest of the five and one half billion folks we share it were not as important. Hubris and Greed make for a deadly cocktail, drink with caution.
